Day In The Life saunters through a lovely low-slung Detroit house rhythm, filtered through his signature melodic optimism & keys work to gorgeous effect. Der Opium Queen dials up the modem for his heaving bleep house dub, weaving the bassline’s suped-up LFOs around snapshots of the original’s key and pad word. George Earnest breaks with added pace, snapping hardcore drum rollage with vocodered vocals for an ecstatic pop rave version. lastminuteman concludes the package with his wickedly blunted’n’broken refix, abstracting the OG to a skittering haze.
